    I just cooked this soup. This is probably one of the most delicious and sophisticated dishes I've ever cooked or eaten. I served it with croutons made from my home made sourdough bread and it worked fantastically. I wish I had time to cook something like this every day.

    This is just what I needed! My great grandmother, born in 1905, used to make custard over toast as a special treat when I was a child. I have been wanting to make it, but every time I googled custard over toast, a yogurt custard would pop up. Her custard was exactly like your second custard. Thanks so much!

    Just tried this! (Though I didn't marinade the chicken overnight) Absolutely lovely. Though, I did leave my chicken out of the stock for too long, and it was a bit cold by the time I got round to eating. Flambe-ing definitely helps the flavour, don't miss that step

    Revently it has been agreed by cuisine that the foam the chicken releases when boiling it has nothing to do with impurities, its just the non soluble organic compounds if you bought your chicken from a good place no need to remove it
